I bought a replacement set of front door speakers a few days ago - and after some fighting with the door trims, I have replaced the original units. +++

The sound is perfect, as you would expect. Gone is the rattling, and what is very apparent about the B&O is that with just two blown speakers, the rattling surround effect made it appear that even more speakers were problematic.

Did you manage to isolate it down to them diagnostically or just plump for them as the most likely source of the fault?

Guessing they don't come cheap new from Audi?!

I bought a replacement amp (Which covers the bass speakers) but this did not fix the fault, so I bought the front speakers. I did not do any diags, but I did initially disconnect the silver amp in the boot which showed me that all the mid and trebble were fine from the black amp, leaving either blown speakers or knackered silver amp to plump for. I initially guessed at the silver amp as I did not expect 2 speakers to fail, but that is what has happened.

bummer - still at least it is now fixed and you have either a good spare amp or one to sell on if anyone needs it :D

I was fortunate enough to be able to return the amplifier. My purchase was only for the front speakers from a breakers yard, so was very reasonable in the end.
