Generally the car gets steamier if its left on auto - i wondered if it was better to have on a certain setting...

In that case maybe you have a problem with the aircon dehumidifier? Not sure how you check that.

Possible the receiver/drier needs changed, not expensive but will require the system to be recharged once fitted

Yup..but it's 'sealed' so the steam you see is more likely to come from the matrix where it's not drained properly.

Yes but if the system is not working correctly it won't keep the interior clear
