that looks like a bad car with lots of work and it aint worth his buy it now £10,000 more like £5000 you can buy these now for under £20,000 |
The worrying bit I spotted was the line of metal showing through on the right rear roof pillar.
I have worked for a Porsche repair shop in the past and have taken Cat C Boxsters and 996s apart for them to be straightened, sections welded in etc, painted and then I had to put them back together. Looking at what I have seen with Cat C cars that have been repaired, I wouldn't want to be in one in an accident. The worst two were a red Boxster S with less than 1,000 miles... the chassis still wasn't straight after and the other was a 996 C4 which had been upside down at high speed - so much so that the metal had worn through both layers!! Another roof was stitched in. Cat Ds are prob as far as I would go. MG |
suspect if anyone buys it they will probably develop and maybe even expire from some horrible body shop dust related lung disease which will at least prevent them from driving it and therefore limit the death toll, which may well be significantly higher if they were to survive and get it back on the road, very scary:(

Why is that car crying out cut and shut in my head.
|
thats because it is cut and shut
its had a complete back end welded on some idiot is bidding over £8000 now no thanks £5000 i would buy it and and track it to death--job done and on that bombshell ............................................. |
Well the RS4 sold for nearly 10K, I really feel sorry for the person who buys it once repaired believing it to be a good car since its HPI clear.
|
My dad's old a4 had a replacement rear 3/4 panel through no fault of his own and it was always evident even though the overall quality of the repair was ok. Never easy to hide it unless they actually make a proper job of it. Hope the eventual owner of this rs4 goes over it thoroughly and knows what they're getting into....
