For some reason the admiral/elephant/bell group of companies are always cheap, Ive just moved from elephant to Greenlight only reason really was that Elephant specificly ban the Nurburgring on their policy and as I may be going this year I decided to pay a bit extra to be safe.

Mine's up for renewal next month. Best I got so far is £359 fully comp, protected no claims, 12k a year.

My latest including all mods being declared is currently £425, that's with protected NCB and 6 points for speeding :)

Just renewed mine 2 weeks ago, had mine and the wifes polo on a multi car from Admiral, but as standard Admiral policy is - it went up this year, and we have moved 10 miles down the road so obviously that made it go up aswell. I have enough experience with Admiral to know they are cheap for a year until you want to renew, and wasn't about to pay over £900!
Started phoning around, the wife called her old mob Diamond.. and guess what. they are also owned/partnered with Admiral.. (you'd be surprised how many of these spin off companys are owned by a larger group)
Called the new 'Aviva' - they are crap. 'Built around customers' although the service was appaling and they called me randomly for 2 weeks even though I asked them not to.

Eventually signed with direct line. Having a house policy and landlord policy with them helped, they mirror over my 5yrs plus no claims over to the wife, as the policys are linked, I get guaranteed hire car, recovery, business use and all the standard bells and whistles for both drivers on both cars for £750 ish. I was reasonably happy with that considering the extras (think mine on its own with both drivers, recovery and hire car was around £530 - £350ish without all the extras. (and I have a low excess)

Sink Admiral!

Same story here - had multi-car policy with Admiral and they tried to double the premium at first renewal! Went to Direct line, where two individual policies cost less then the single Admiral quote for my S8.
Up yours greedy bloke with the daft hat, tucked arm and big collars!

Direct line for me and the wife. In her name because I only had bike no claims. £350 with all the bells and whistles. Mid 30's and clean licences.

Singhs quote reminds me of my first few years of motorcycling. £2k a year but so worth it to have a proper bike. Perversely my premiums dropped when I got a brand new bike. My GSXR 750 is now £200 a year, I like being old sometimes.

Heck its worth it, I've wanted an '8 Since I was 10/11. Been saving since forever for one, wanted to do it all on my own. The good thing is my parents don't know anything about cars, so they have no idea how much I'm paying for insurance! They think I'm saving up for uni  But pretty much everything I earn goes on the '8  My dad only found out from one of his work mates the other week that the S8 wasn't a 1.8 like I told him and in fact a 4.2 V8. He didn't even clock on it wasn't a 1.8 after he took it on a 300mile journey
Just checked some quotes got it down to 2650 :D Highest was over £12k!

Wow thats a heck of an improvement! :D
Are you gonna cancel the other and take up the new one?
Think of all the extras you can add to your '8 with all the spare change ;)
