But if you see 'A8L' on a boot lid, does that mean 'long'?

If it's got A8L on the boot, then it's the LWB. Though it does have a different chassis designation number.

In the UK at least, D2 Long Wheel base was only 4.2

D3 Long Wheel base was just about every engine they could think of +++



Its short wheel base. And thats a good thing. +++
