I've been asked if it's possible to use wheels with offset more than ET40. I think not. I did test the wheels before I put the tires on and I'm posting the result here.

The solution if you can't find anything else is to use spacers:

It has been an increased demand for this size lately they said. This size gives a stretched look on the 20x10 RH NAJ rims, but I found it easy to accept this as I just love these rims. I have ET40 and still the rubber is slightly outside the front fender, but totally acceptable. ET35 will go even 5 mm further out so I'm happy with my ET40 rims.
The tire has a rim protection profile which fluctuates with the rim itself, hardly any practical protection but it looks ok. It leaves an open crack due to the stretch. Overall I'm satisfied. The handling is very accurate and firm with this setup(sport suspension).

See for yourselves!

Looks nice that!

Hi
Do you use any spacers?

Can someone confirm what is the original tire and wheel size on S8 D2 final edition wheels?

I have 9x20 FE style wheels out of an D3 on my PF S8 with 275/35 tires and in it is quite horrible. The roads around here have grooves (?) due to studded tires commonly used in the winter, so the car with wide tires tramlines quite bad.

I wonder why the previous owner chose the 275 width instead of 255, which should be ok for 9" wheel.

I have 255/35R20 on my genuine FE 20" wheels (8.5"). I believe that is the correct size, it corresponds with the tyre pressures label.

Same here, I have 255/35R20 on my genuine FE 20" wheels (8.5")
Running them at 38PSI all round.

Thanks! The next question would have been the tire pressure, but thanks johnny_quattro +++
