Xenon plus sidelights are OK with the "right" LED, though the little tube they're in is a bit strange.

Lots of fake xenon bulbs on ebay - best to replace as a pair as the light output will potentially be quite different from the new bulb. There's info online to help determine if a bulb is fake :)
