I sold my old one on here, only thing I got from PH were canvassers and breakers looking for a cheap car.

Which is exactly the reason I'm hoping to do the same mannyo. I'd rather sell it to someone who knows what it is and avoid tyre kickers and folks after it at a knockdown price.

If it doesn't sell I'll gladly keep it and bring it out on special occasions. The way I see it it's value will bottom out then increase again as they become rarer..........which at the rate they're going bang won't be too many years ;) Having seen the prices some "classics" are demanding these days it might not be a bad idea. At least the A8 will still be a lovely car to drive, some of those cars demanding big money never were, and never will be nice to drive :)

I'd say Pistonheads or Autotrader. I'm looking to replace my D3 4.2 Quattro Sport too, and that's where I'll be advertising.
