Sergey did a write up on here somewhere. I'll try to find it later as well a photo of the gearshift he fitted.

Yes, there's some information in the Interior Upgrade Stickies, but I'm a bit wary of "popping the knob off" in case it won't go back on easily!

And as for:

I decided to colour mine to match the grip using "The Wonder of Woolies!" :D

It's covered (where it hasn't rubbed off to expose the black plastic) with that horrible soft rubbery paint they use on the door shells as well (and other places). But not being porous and having a matte surface it's easy to paint and dries quickly. The colour of it on my car is called "Jive" or "Grey Beige".
I did 3 coats of Woolies on the exposed bits inside an hour and I think it looks great! +++ Might clearcoat lacquer it another day to stop it rubbing off.

(By the way, if people don't know how to take this stuff off it's dead easy. There's a captive plug under the rear end of the leather grip that can be eased out with a small blade such as an electrical screwdriver and it then slides forward letting the lever cover lift up at the front releasing a tab at the rear)
