Logic is wrong 1 to 8 works better as you keep the best till last

Cant agree with "the best is last" approach. Do you see Mo Farah leading from the back?

Should it be D2s then D3s and then D4s:p

(By the way, if you think this is occupying our (biased) minds, just think what the organiser's are going through!)

Perhaps it's too contentious to do it by model. Let's go by colour - I don't think my Aqua Blue D2 will be far from the front. Or we could by drivers name.

Do it by age?

roberto 14th August 2014 08:53 PM

lets do it by best spec first

so im in front +++

Your car is confused.
So it drops several spaces.

Possibly behind me.

I think they should do it by adding together the engine size designations and with the first digit coming higher in ranking than the second so -

3.7 = 3 + 7 = 10
2.8 = 2 + 8 = 10
5.2 = 5 + 2 = 7
6.0 = 6
4.2 = 4 + 2 = 6
4.0 = 4
3.0 = 3

Perfect!! :D

4.0 = 4
3.0 = 3

Perfect!! :D

That made me :ROFL: Neil, I knew you'd devise a way to be in front +++

I agree, but keep going until you have a single digit:

3.7 = 3 + 7 = 10; 1+0 =1
2.8 = 2 + 8 = 10; 1+0 =1
5.2 = 5 + 2 = 7
6.0 = 6
4.2 = 4 + 2 = 6
4.0 = 4
3.0 = 3

So 3.7s and 2.8s at the back please! :D
