Mine goes up only as well and seat moves back +++

Oh well that's another thing they must have changed from D2 to D3 :(

On the D2, and I assume the D3 is very similar, you do have to program the key to a seat memory number first (or is it vice-versa?). Simple to do.

When I picked up my current S8, despite its age, that had never been done. I guess it only ever had one regular driver so they had never done it. RTFM as noted above.
