I say in 2 months battery will be too low to start if it was not put in transport mode in VCDS or put on charger.

Well, depends how good the battery was. I've had D3's sat over 6 weeks and yes, the battery management cut the lighting, instrument cluster, keyless entry etc, but it bloody well started.....
If yours has a good battery, fully charged then you stand a chance. The V10 turns over easy too..... I'm gonna go with the vote of 'yes it might' just to even things up a bit... +++ |
She's alive but only just
Got home half hour ago, dumped the bags in the house but noticed no alarm leds flashing as I walked by the old girl.
When I went to the car no response from comfort access either, tried the unlock button on the blooper and she responded dutifully. She didn't move the seat back to suit me being there though, so I squeezed in and hit the start button to be greeted with the classic woo woo woo woo vroom. I honestly think if it tried one more revolution she would have collapsed and fail but it's all good. Left her running a bit while I scuried around looking for a fuse for the battery charger. Mmi battery level was 0 bars on the level. Hooked up the charger and put her to bed for the night and see what tomorrow's start will be like. Hopefully it will have a bit more urgency about it. |
Knew it!!!!!

I love it when a plan comes together, especially if I was right!! :D
Glad it started ok for you +++ |
I've had mine so low that the remote key won't unlock it (you have to lift the door handle to reveal the manual lock), so I think you had a few more weeks of juice in her. Great result, and I bet it felt good :D
