Hi Matty
Yeah, its good to be finally back, a bit later than expected but I'm here and that's all what matter to me because I can finally start doing less work and start spending more time on the car and forum.

Thanks for the links mate +++

So, picked them male connectors today and they will definitely cost you less from Poland (eBay) if you can wait about 3-4days.

Also, crimping tool for them specific JPT connectors arrived today.

And bought this very cool toy by Rothemberger, 3in1, soldering iron (450C), hot air (600C) and blow torch (1300C). I've got a soldering station, but with some projects having a portable soldering iron is just so much more easy.

I agree, I have a similar one from Maplin, very handy when working on the car.

I need to buy a portable gas tool like you both have, seems very useful.

Quick search throws this... any good?

Well, Dremel is very good, no doubt.
I've seen that before, but even if it's £15 cheaper than Rothemberge, is the size what I don't like about the Dremel.
I Dont know what Del has, but Rothemberger is about 15cm long, very compact and fits very well in hand. Size will matter when soldering stuff in tight areas in the floor bend and on your back ;)

Dremel looks like it has better gas capacity because of size.

You can pick a Rothemberger from Screwfix, just search soldering iro. Dont buy gas from them, because the only butane they have don't bloody fit, so you won't waste five quid. Simple Ronsol for two pounds is butane only not mix and does the job.

I have this one
