I have been deliberating over this for the past few months and have to finally concede that I will not be able to attend the Annual Meet this year. With that in mind, I will have to contact the hotel to cancel my booking for the Friday and Saturday nights.

Although I was travelling alone and went for single occupancy, I believe it was still a double/twin room I had pre-booked. If there is anyone who wants to take advantage of this becoming available, can you PM me your details. That way, when I call to cancel my booking, I can ask them to hold it for you. I can then PM you that I've cancelled, and you can call them to book the room. I'll hold off phoning them until Friday, unless I'm contacted sooner. Hope that makes sense.

No mate, the golf trip is earlier this year so I was looking forward to the meet this year. It's the looming redundancy and me needing to prioritise, some things had to give and unfortunately the meet was on the list. I'm just hoping I can keep the car, then maybe attend next year if I'm working again +++

Guys n Gals,

After our visit this weekend there are 5 rooms left in the main hotel and 3 rooms left in the overflow across the road.

The Castle will hold their rooms until the end of April. The overflow B&B (http://www.droversllandovery.co.uk/) will not hold rooms so first come first served. It is very nice as Neil and I stayed there this weekend gone.

I'm pretty sure we have already booked in but they did seem very easygoing and didn't ask for much detail or send a confirmation. At least not one I can find....

Its very simple . . . as per the heading THIS list is for accommodation booked so that we know who is staying where and for how many nights, and was primarily to keep an eye on rooms booked at the castle hotel so people knew how booked it was getting.

The other list is for attendance at the meet and you need to add yourself to both if you are coming and staying!! Simples. . .+++
