I feel even more for you after an incident I had yesterday.
One of the grandkids opened the front passenger door into a moving baby carriage. Mother and baby are OK. But my 8!!!!!!
A long scratch along the length of the lower door panel.:mad::mad:
Hopefully most of it will polish out.

I have a result. After sending in the sales receipt for mine along with two adverts for similar cars and also quoting the ombudsman about what market value means (likely cost to the customer of buying a car as near possibly identical), they've agreed the valuation was wrong and are going to repair it. +++

The bodyshop called today to say they've ordered the parts, I'm not sure what the lead time will be on them but they'll be giving me a call later with an estimated date for completion.

I'm still waiting for my car! Speaking with the garage, there's been a delay due to the wrong lower bumper being ordered which meant the fog lights don't fit. They've ordered a different one which is on back order.

I was also told that the fog light grilles are obsolete but can't remember if that's the early two part facelift or late one piece facelift ones. Mine has the two part ones.

I thought I read somewhere that Audi will make parts for these cars for 20 years after the last one leaves the production line. Is that not the case or is it only certain parts?

Great news Pete.
Only problem is that in a very few short years you will lose it to your growing little person
