I scrapped an A4 to make room for the new S8 so cleared the space in front of the back door.

For some reason November is dead S8 month :Confused: 2015 I bought my grey one, which ran but not well. 2016 I bought the Avus FE, and this year I've bought the black one. Rather an odd coincidence. 2.8s can turn up at any time apparently.

And the A4 shunter (who's main job is pushing dead 8's around the workshop) gets a rare night inside the workshop! Recently it has been forced to sit in the yard since there has been no space inside.

Bit out of focus so can't see the ends clearly to see if it's a pipe or linkage or whatever.
Is it something like an interconnect between the gear shift and ignition?

Bonnet release cable?
