Thats what I thought.

So my insurance would go up on both my minis, the Audi and her mini policy.

I'm in the cheapest postcode catagory but I have my D3 insured as a public Hire vehicle (20 million 3rd party-gulp) Being only 23 and only 1 years trade ncb (seperate from my normal ncb) and unlimited mileage I got milked for £1800 this year :(

Joys of being a Chauffeur/Wedding Car :( :( :(

Yeah, we were looking at having a D3 S8 and using it for private hire, and also self drive hire, but the two trade insurances are totally seperate and we couldnt find anyone that would let them overlap.... It was £3500 for the self drive hire insurance alone.... :eek2:

Ouch that’s just a shade under what i paid for my car although insurance company has valued it at £1200 today so best be careful I don’t scuff a alloy or it’ll be a write off. Well nearly.:D

You lot should try being 22, with 3pts and only 3yrs no claims! It costs a bomb to insure the '8!
