So I did some research today into the wiring of the wing mirrors. Turns out that the wiring and connector for the Side assist mirror cap lights are present. The blue/yellow wiring runs from the wing mirror harness to the 4 pin connector in the door harness. However from there all the way to the rear of the car will need to be custom fit.

From door harness to the rest of the car, the blue/yellow wire isn't present. According to ELSAWIN, from this point the wiring changes colour to Purple/Blue.

For Lane Assist retrofit wouldn't you also need the different indicator stalk, windscreen and windscreen camera/sensor?

Nope as I'm looking to do Audi Side Assist retrofit ( Lane Change Assist). In elsawin Side assist is referred to as Lane Change Assist.

What happens at connection B565 in the main wiring harness... Do the wires from both doors join here to connect to pin T10v/4 to the bumper connection?
