Thanks Neil,

Both my keys (remotes) have the same part number:
4D0 837 231A

Can anyone confirm this is the same in the UK (99% sure it is - split the original key at the join, part number will be displayed in the join section of the remote half)?

Yep thats the same as the UK
He'll sell you 4 blanks for £120 if youd like them (uncut and uncoded)

He can cut them all to a photo for £20 for you

Sounds like a done deal Neil!

I'll forward some funds to MJ so she can pay on the day if that suits everyone? Or I can pay Craig direct if he has PayPal?

How would you like to handle the photos?
Shall I PM you and you can forward them on?

So, for a D3, the only option is the standard key, right?

I may not be able to make the meet but could someone pass on my details so I could get a visit when he is around my area?

Thought I would add some feedback here on the keys.

I'm very happy with my new keys and a great price and service from Craig. I went with the Bentley style ones and they feel and look very good and have a nice weight to them. I did find the plastic casing is a little "soft" and can mark easily after I dropped one whilst still at the Carding Shed, so about an hour after Craig left!

The drop left a scratch (which would be expected) but it also dislodged the internal circuit board so that the unlock button no longer worked. The rear cover pulls off but in doing so I managed to damage it a little more as it's quite thin at the end where the join is to prize open, using a plastic tool would help prevent this but I didn't have much to hand. I was then easily able to relocate the circuit board and it all works fine again. :)

It's great having the memory seats working for each key too +++

Glad you got it fixed Pete!

If the innards are working, you could perhaps try contacting Craig to see if he can send you a new enclosure.

I agree they are very nice, weighty keys. Had mine a few years now. Still look like new and all four are working again now thanks to a quick reprogram of my 'key #2' by Craig +++
