For those travelling from the East/South East or even around Exeter, if you want some nice driving roads instead of solid driving along the A30, can I suggest you drive SW through Dartmoor Park, through Tavistock and join the A30 again at Lifton rather than following a satnav which will take you around the north of Dartmoor and sticking to the A30.

It adds about half an hour on to your journey, but only adds a couple of miles in distance and there are some great stretches of roads for driving along there, just be careful of the sheep :ROFL:
