but i did not think it was an early face lift ? i have seen a 98 face lift and mine is november 1999 is that not late ish as the final was 2002 ? confused lol as long as they fit and are stiffer than whats on there now thats all that matters

I would have thought a 1998 facelift is unlikely. The pre facelift went up to 1999 'T' reg models, and you also get 'T' reg facelift models. I think yours is a very early facelift as they came with a lot of the goodies yours does. Where is your Vag Com port located, under the ash tray or the drivers footwell? That should clear it up, in the early facelifts it was under the ashtray. +++

yep under the ash tray +++ so i guess its an early facelift then and yes its full of goodies :-)
