Nice pic of car + Gibraltar!

Spent a couple of days in Malaga, now back in the Estepona area. A8 has now covered in excess of 1000 miles and still running well.

Visiting relatives in Marbella tomorrow.

I'll be running up to Malaga airport on Tuesday to drop off one of the party who is flying back to the UK.

Still hot and sunny here in Andalucia, not missing the rain and floods in the UK at all.

The attached picture says it all, lovely and sunny and just under 30c.

Just a few days to go now before starting the long trek back to the UK.

Been on Gibraltar again today, needed to fill up the 8. This time headed for Morrisons down by the port and paid less than last week, just over £73 this time.

We left going on a little late this time, and the queue was quiet long. Took around 40 mins to clear the queue to get on, during which time the engine got a little warmer than usual and was hovering around 2/3rds. I guess this was all down to driving slowly for so long in 30c+ temperatures with the A/C on.

Annoyingly in the queue I was rear ended at very slow speed by a Gibraltarian, no damage to either car so we just carried on queueing one behind the other. For some reason the queue today was chaotic at best, with cars trying to queue jump, horns, whilst the spanish policeman tried to keep everything under control.

And after being rear ended yesterday it looks like my Debit card may have possibly been cloned, where or how I have no idea. I get text alerts each time my card is used abroad, and received one at 4.30am UK time.

Speaking to my bank (lloydstsb) at 4.30am UK time this morning, they have put a marker on the transaction as its possibly one of mine. I know the amount and what the transaction was for in £ (Autopista Toll payment) but not the location of the transaction or the value in euros as the bank cannot see that yet because its not been fully processed. Should this not be one of mine they are happy to cancel the card, and start the fraud process. Luckily I have another means of payment with me.

The reason for leaving it like this is that I have used the card three times to pay for motorway tolls, one is on my account already but two have yet to come through fully, and now there is a possibility of another one I was not responsible for.

I have only used the card a few times for payment, and I am normally vigilant of this sort of thing.

2 x Cash Withdrawls - Gib £ (Main Street and Morrisons)
2 x Tanks of petrol - Gib £ (Gib Oil and Morrisons)

3 x motorway tolls (1 - Autopista Seville, 2 - Autopista Del Sur), I am reasonably sure that I already had the text alerts for these.

So not sure on those where the card may have been cloned (if it has been).

Still here, looks like the card has not been cloned having reviewed the transactions online.

I dont know where this weather is coming from today, but here its really hot today and the wind is quiet strong blowing across from the Sahara desert. The time is 17:30 and the temperature even now is hovering around the 40c mark, the A8 was swinging between 40c and 41c on the run up from Algeciras to the villa.

The engine temp has been running at just over 90c, which is hardly surprising as standing outside its like pointing a hairdryer at your whole body on the hottest setting.

And for the last time, reverse parked outside the villa, as we are starting the run back to the UK tomorrow. Sorry Dave for not being able to get down to the port to meet up, what with one thing and another we have been quiet busy and out and about a lot.

I've got that to look forward to, back in the UK Tuesday morning. By the time I am home the 8 will have covered more than 2K miles in 3 weeks. Just sorting the final packing, then its squeeze it all in the boot (3 weeks luggage for 4) before leaving here around 8am spain time.
