Congrats Amar, hope the coolant is a easy fix.
Make sure you charge your battery to full to see the heated windscreen in action. Sergey found out it uses around 1000 Watts, which from a 12V battery is close to 100Amps, so its module will not let it work if the battery is not near fully charged as its voltage will sag too much with such a high load.

Is that like a challenge? ;)

Glass sunroof.
Text only Sat nav.
Comfort seats.
Towbar?
(getting a bit desperate now lol)
LWB with drop down vanity mirrors for the rear

:p

Sorry to hear about the coolant, but a rapid loss should hopefully be easy to find, way easier than gradual leak. Just fill the tanks and see where she wees.... Better it died nearly home, than half way there...

Congrats Amar and welcome to the blue Audi club - stunning combo! +++

Will it be yours or another one for the clan?

When you get a sec, would you mind just letting me know the paint code it has on it? It would be interesting to see as mine is Z5K Azure blue and is an Exclusive colour on the D3.

Oli

Sorry, all the extras I would have wanted, that should have read. I wouldn't own one with comfort seats, glass sunroofs I don't like, have it on the C6 and prefer it to be dark in the cabin so it's always closed, vanity mirrors in the back would be cool and tow bar, forget it! You're right, sudden is better in this case. Jug was following me in the D4 and said he saw a lot of smoke and could smell the same burning as me? Odd, very odd. On the plus side, the gearbox seemed perfectly normal to me...

Oli, this is my own in the sense it is bought and paid for by me, but I'm not sure how much use I will get out of it and it will be made available to my sister/dad as a winter car as her new BMW has no chance in the snow we're expecting in November. So I currently have the RS6,S8,A8 2x V8's and a V10 plus whatever company car I'm in as it changes every three months or so. I need to get rid of the silver A8 I bought a few months back though, sad, because I have a soft spot for that car. :(

Thanks, Goran. Good to know, and Oli - I'll get the paint code tonight, I thought it was in my previous post though, or is that something else?

Put four litres of water in there, not a drop in the expansion tank after 2 seconds, as it was wet and dark I couldn’t see where it was leaking from. I’m glad the water didn’t stay, means there is a crack in it or a loose pipe rather than an annoying small leak which will be harder to identify. Oh well, I can always clean it while it’s poorly, needs some TLC and it will look great inside I reckon…
