Norretal, Del, Thanks guys

I do go full OCD sometimes to often.
Mrs is keep telling me you are just bonkers, why you need all this little brushes, all these cleeaning products, box of microfibres, cotton towels, paper towel, compressed air, dyson with all the possible attachments, little cut pieces of cotton towels and microfibres taped around screwdrivers ????

I must admit, engine bay seen worst days few times, just no time, lifes to busy, but when I get on it I mean business :D

After a spray job all over again

That is only 5 pence per mile difference, that's why I don't 'buy' these LPG conversions.

Petrol - £100/422=23.69 pence per mile
LPG - £61.66/330=18.68 pence per mile

How much does a conversion cost, £2000 maybe?

At that rate, you'd have to do 40,000 miles just to break even.

Add in the additional maintenance, insurance complications, inconvience of actually finding an LPG station, I just don't understand the benefit.

If you worry about running costs, surely better to just buy a diesel?

That TDI looks massive in there or is it all plastic beauty panel?

ScottD3 19th May 2014 08:46 AM

That's pretty much it.
The panel is as wide as the engine I think.
