I did that with heating oil back in 2020 when lockdown hit. Paid 20p a litre for 2000 litres, and only ran out last winter :ROFL: Almost wish I'd bought more, but it was beginning to go off.

Wow. I paid 60p a litre for 900 litres back in the first half of February (2022). Three weeks later it was £1.20 a litre. 'Cheapest' it ever dropped to after that was 90p a litre and it's currently at £1.02... and rising.

At least I can still afford to run the car on LPG at 69.9p a litre.
