Then spare a thought for me :)
Today I swapped wheels between the auto S8 and the manual S8, and washed the ones that went on the manual. 8 wheels in total, plus washing, oooooouch!

who is coming across there on the Sunday morning?

It looks like, assuming a "following wind" I'll make it tomorrow, but not in time for breakfast etc. so please try to save me a space at the venue.
Might not get there till about midday, and I apologise in advance for the smell - going in on Wednesday to have the output shaft seals fixed. :-(

Met up briefly today with Adrian who was on his way there - he was having a really bad time with the M25 though. :(

Neil, I have your mobile number so I'll text you when I'm near. ;)

Ok Andrew, will be great to see you there. Looks like I might be eating breakfast on my own at 8-9am lol. Anyone else meeting up early with me at Junction 15?

Oh no, so there will be no convoy. I'm going to be lazy in that case and turn up at the venue at 10am

Romping Reporter here +++
Well it was a hazy sunny day and the god of weather was good to us all at Billing for Audis In The Park 5, it was good to see old friends and new, we finally amassed a line of 10 A8's and S8's in all including a few we hadn't seen before.
Here's a group pic, but a warning to Brian - your "black cat in a coal celler" look is now available in a D3 version lol. . . . .

And here's the all black D3 4.2 tdi, nice spec with adaptive cruise, B&O and heated ventilated seats etc, nice spec for a LWB, the owners said it used to be Madonna's chauffeur car +++

Sadly, one of my rear electric headrests failed while demonstrating the dashboard button that lowers them to Neil.
(He was in the relevant rear seat at the time, so I blame him! :tuttut: )
The motor still whirs away, much faster than the other one (which still works), but nothing moves. At least the headrest is down.

I've found this which suggests a repair method, has anyone done this and/or have any observations?

Maybe I should start a thread in the relevant section? :cool:
