Is your one lowered, have you had major issues with it?

I'm not aware its been lowered (bearing in mind I've only just got it!), its just got 18" wheels and lower profile tyres on it which does "fill the arches". There were lots of brand new spares in the boot including standard shock absorbers which have since been fitted along with new turret top mounts which were worn as normal for the mileage. The car does drive nicely now the shocks are replaced. The car also came with an interesting "start button" which had been added because the owner hadn't got around to changing the ignition barrel, but again there was a brand new spare in the boot which is now fitted! +++ There is also a complete set of Bose speakers and amp in the boot which may get retrofitted as well.

I'm gradually replacing various bits of trim which get worn on those cars, but again by buying a red leather interior to swap in it came with matching door cards which had better switch gear so that has helped! I will shortly have a full black sports interior to sell on once its all cleaned up properly +++

Next work will engine mounts, FSI engine clean and manifolds sorted, injectors checked for condition and operation (refurbed if needed) and a full service then all should be good mechanically it will get a new MOT during March +++

Then it will be on to improving any bodywork issues and valeting / detailing it :D

And I thought you were going to say that it will be up for sale!:p

I'm very much reliant on my local mechanic this end and also hopefully a short sharp visit to the A2 Doctor(!) later for one or two jobs (on the basis that it is neither murple or a D2! :tuttut:) but happy to have a tinker with trim and valeting etc when the weather warms up a bit :cool:

I think I should get first Dibs as I am being effected by ULEZ.:D

Not sure - those on there are 18's and its already all pretty tight fit! :D
