Im already committed to other things on the 29th -
I think Im gonna plump for FRIDAY 30th DECEMBER at
The Leopard Inn, Oakley Wood Road, Bishops Tachbrook, Leamington Spa, Warwickshire, CV33 9RN
website for them is http://www.leopardinn.co.uk/ which has directions. They have a nice big car park.
I can book some table space for a lunchtime meal and suggest that we meet at Lunchtime to give as many people as possible travelling time to get there
I would suggest we meet from 12 Noon onwards and aim to eat at 1pm
it will be dark by 3pm onwards so we need to take any pictures before we eat

Can everyone please give me names and numbers for dining on the list below as I need to reserve and book table space on our behalf -

Count us in Neil (Connor and me) we will probably stay overnight on the 29th at Travelodge Binley, appeals to me at £29.00 per night:( and as SWMBO wont be coming we can slum it a bit:p If anybody who lives near or is staying near that night wants to do something on the evening of the 29th then sure we can find something to keep us out of mischief:D

Hi briang9. Sorry, I did not mean to offend anyone by my comments. I did say I was new to this forum and had no idea how far you guys travel to a meet.
I have been a member of several car clubs/forums over the years and have never come across anyone who was prepared travel circa 700 mile round trip to attend one.

I am more than happy to join everyone at The Leopard Inn, Leamington Spa on Friday 30th, especially as it’s closer than my proposed venue.

I will be on my own as the Mrs is looking after the Grandkids.

no problem David and really no offence taken or meant by my post either, glad you took it in the spirit in which it was made, very much tongue in cheek, bottom line is I love driving my 8 and I normally find that time between Xmas & New Year a bit of a no mans land of Turkey sandwiches, crap TV and even worse......... sales, it will be a pleasure to spend time in the car to meet like minded people, looking forward to meeting friends old and new!!

I'm driving into central London for the weekend on the 30th. I'll see if I can pop down for an hour or so on the way down, don't book me a table though. I'll just meet you guys in the car park for a bit, will confirm nearer the time.
