You could always look at:

Know a few folks who've bought from them, and it seems decent gear.

I had planned going for a 50 mile ride today but the rain this morning soon put heed to that, so a quick few miles in the relative dry of the lunchtime lull was enough to tip the scales and get past the 600km to allow me to complete the Strava Prove It challenge

Well done that man...especially in this weather!!

Not easy to be motivated in January so the Prove It challenge was possible a good thing to get me out

Done and dusted :))

131.3km doon the watter

Glasgow, Bishopton, Port Glasgow, Greenock, Inverkip, Weymss Bay, Skelmorlie, Largs, Fairlie, Ardrossan, Saltcoats, Irvine, Kilmaurs, Stewarton, Newton Mearns, and back home

Wind was a wee bit of a bugger at times but the rain was not too bad, one wet shower until Newton Mearns then heavy rain and hail straight into the face all the way home

Well done that man!

I managed to miss most of the bad weather David so it wasn't too bad +++

Here's one for you Richard or anyone else who fancies a challenge...David, Jim, Brian, Connor... +++ +++ +++

200km (124.3 miles) Audax, Ok chaps this ones pretty much on your doorstep and a cracker it is too, with some nice wee hills but nothing to bad and around 2550m of climbing.

Route, Click

Entry is £10 from here although you need to pay an extra £2 for non members or don't if you've a CTC card.

For those who've not done an Audax event before a few things to note, You must be entirely self reliant, there's no rider support, broom/sag wagons are not included, neither is food although there's always tea and cake at start/finish (free) so you buy your own or carry it with you, There's no goody bags/medals or any other pish handed out at the finish. Ferry ticket is included in the price. Remember Audax is not a race, it's about getting round within the allotted time (usually 14hrs) so well within anyone's grasp.

Here's a list of other events in Scotland too Click
