I do have S8 Clocks .. But i think they are standard not ACC there fitted in the W12 had them from A8 parts years ago when i was up there changing a few things ..

I dont see many S8's with ACC for some reason only on the FL +++

i wander if you could make one out of 2 different clocks ie the S8 back drop and then code the clocks for S8 + ACC so that it works and the revs and speedo are synced ?

Oh Manny when you had no Grill on your car for the ACC did you just have a standard Grill and it worked or did it need the special grill ?

Reason i ask is i have 2 spare so i have cut one so that there is a section in that is blank leaving the radar clear of view ..

Untill i get a grill Faclift i have for the conversion but its a FL W12 grill with no ACC .. other options with ACC pannel seem very expencive .. the W12 Grill looks almost like the S8 grill really

I bought a set of acc clocks from Poland with that exact train of thought only to realise that the s8 has grey dials and white needles and the others are black with red needles so that was the end of that.

thats exactly what i was reffering to changing the Dials over im sure some one did something simmilar and made one good clock with Wide dis out of two broken sets ..

but the S8 clocks have 180MPH and the A8 is 160mph .. also you loose the Digital eliment when you have ACC so the MPH display in the DIS dissapears

I took a set of dials apart once to do some work on them, they never went back together very well... +++

To be honest, new clocks are around a grand I think, and you save the hassle of incorrect mileage and component correction.

I'd probably just buy new clocks...... To have ACC, it would be worth it imo.

It's a lot of outlay for what I see as a benefit to me as a driving experience but sensibly I would be looking at over 2k to get it working and would never get that back if I was to sell the car.

I have thought about it many times and it's been one of those options that I wish I got when I bought it, but as I said before its almost impossible to find the right car with the toys, mileage etc at the right price so something has to give.

American s8's seem to have to more often then the UK couteparts but even there clocks are different with labelling etc.

Who knows if I can find a radar sensor at a sensible price I may swing for a new set of clocks and go for it.

might be worth trying one of the Poland-based sellers of steering wheels etc to see if they can provide a new set of clocks at (more) sensible money?

cars-equipment.com springs to mind

WORKING LIKE A DREAM !!! Thank You manny for pointing me in the right direction and everyone else for your help ..

Turned out there is a section under adaptaion number 8 and you select next or activate it and it resets all calibrations to 0.00 and then re learns as you drive over a period of time rather than using the mirrors to set it up !!

Im very happy with the results i now have fully working ACC +++
