Yes, the drilled & grooved discs are on as they were the best of the selection we had :)
Its probably worth mentioning that other than replacing the front seats, which were mysteriously missing (!), very little of what we've done has been anything unusual for a D2, or indeed the B5s and C5s which are my bread & butter. Most of it has been the same work I did on mine, what I'm expecting to do on the FE when it arrives too, and what I would expect most of them to need sooner or later. We've basically compressed 2-3 years maintenance in to 4 weeks. The alternator 'fix' is no different to what I would have done on my own car in the same situation. At least I didn't have to take the engine out of this one! :D |
