So who beat me to it?

Saw this on ebay and have been watching it all week, sitting at a nice price with a few seconds to go and I stuck in a bid but the previous bidder obviously thought it was worth more than me :tuttut:

what did it go for

Went for £102.00 or there abouts

The vendor sent me a message through ebay saying he had another one and would let me have a second chance at my bid price...So I will post some pictures when it arrives and I fit it in the garage :D :D

nice , that will look great on the wall, i would end up redecorating the garage like a mini showroom, tiled floor, glass front, reception desk with nice looking but smug snooty girl sitting at it.

Can I find one of them on ebay?

I had thought about tiling the floor. I spoke with one of my clients who has a tiling business and was told that the red quarry tiles were the only ones I should use as they are the toughest. If I used standard highly polished tiles they would eventually break and I would spend half my time replacing them, so I won't be going down that route

The Audi sign is just under 4' x 2' so should look the part once I manage to make up brackets for hanging it on the wall

red quarry tiles dont sound like they would have as much impact, though still preferable to the sludge on mine thanks to an asbesdos leaky roof. not that i can fit the 8 in it anyway, it was built in a time when cars were obviosly much smaller

its a great find though

When I put the floor in my garage it was very dusty, I left it to cure for almost 8 months then hires a concrete grinder to remove the top surface, this left a hard non dusty surface which I then sealed and although not as nice as a tiled surface it is very practical

The sign has arrived, what a bit of kit, brand new in the box.

It looks to have been made for Audi as a showroom sign.
