speakers ? amp ?
Need I help with my speaker set up.
search high and low for my amp and didn't find one but connecting and disconnecting the cable behind head unit I new the rear speakers were getting powered by something. I decided to take the rear speakers off the shelf and found they both have extra components on the bottom of them that must be enhancing the power. is this right? and can I replace them with other speakers and add the components to enhance them? or should I rip it all out and replace with the boss am set up |
Tell us more, e.g. what model/year of car and what head unit?
I have a thread where I'm looking at similar issues, though in my case the rear shelf speakers are producing no sound at all. Are yours actually working? Upgrading to Bose (if that's what you mean) has been discussed before and is best described as a "misson". :tuttut: |
You may find this thread - running currently - helpful.. it might help if you describe the fit you have. +++
Oh and hello and welcome! Intro and photos would be good too +++ |
Did you forget the link David? :)

Well that's my thread, but it's about RNS-D not Symphony so not sure how relevant it all is.

Rear speakers are powered, have amps in them and then drive the rear door speakers. Hence lots of wires in the plugs.

thanks mate, that's what I thought it might be.
I am looking at putting other speakers in to replace them with an amp, should I buy just bass speakers or normal speakers? |
