During a recent holiday I walked past a garage that had a four bay cleaning station which was very busy indeed. The Lamborghini caught my eye for obvious reasons but I watched in ever increasing horror as the "chamois operators" circled the car continuously, wiping down the bodywork, wheels and interior with the same cloths :tuttut:

The owner was stood watching and didn't seem too concerned, and judging by the kerb rash on the wheels it was no surprise really.

Then it was followed in by a Maserati that got the exact same treatment. I'm sure many of the "OCD Club" members on here can appreciate how painful it was to watch

What a machine. Not sure about that interior though!

I agree wholeheartedly, big money doesn't guarantee good taste :(

:eek3::eek2::eek: Yikes I think Ive just gone blind, a BT yellow interior ewwww

Looks more like Easyjet orange on my screen. I like that interior.

Yeah, it was more "vibrant orange" than yellow, still doesn't make it right though ;)

The matching calipers had discoloured to a more yellowish hue due to the heat I guess.

It's a super car so it should be outrageous IMO +++

Agreed... I quite like it too in a garish kind of way +++

Don't get me wrong, it was only jealousy that prevented me drooling over it. I thought it was stunning, the matt paintwork looked amazing, but I was somewhat distracted by the methods being used to "clean" it :tuttut:

I'll never have one, so I can hardly bring someone else's taste into question. At least he wasn't driving it through a flooded street, now that was ridiculous ;)

Its ironic, rich people don't have time to care for their expensive cars.
I'm sure I have seen a few expensive cars too at hand washes around London.

You'd think they could afford to hire the services of a mobile valeter.

I'm guessing the main reason they take them to hand car washes is to show them off.
