Who would like to come along to this year’s Audi Driver International?
Please can you add your name on the list below if you're coming so that we can apply for the correct number of club stand passes in good time.

Club stand passes are free and will get you into the show arena but as usual owners will also be subject to the normal charge for entry of £10 per adult, which is levied by the Castle Combe gate staff

As usual I will be arranging the :mexicanwave: BIG BOYS BREAKFAST :rockin: at the Bolingbroke Arms, Hook Nr Swindon SN4 8DZ
http://www.thebolingbroke.co.uk/ where we will meet up and have some brekkie prior to cruising to castle combe about 30 minutes away. You can also book accommodation at the Bolingbroke if you are coming down the night before and need somewhere to stay.

I need to know a week ahead latest for numbers on the brekkie, as the pub needs to order in their food, and numbers for passes for the club stand will probably be requested about a month ahead but I can guess at numbers for those.

Thanks Neil, I'm more likely than not to be there so count me in for a space, the brekkie I'll confirm ASAP; I might even stay overnight with SWMBO.

Neil, we're trying to combine a number of things together and make a weekend of it in that area.
So chances are that I will be at the circuit (in the S8) and may or may not have SWMBO with me, unless there's something else of interest that I can drop her off at.
We're more likely to stay near/in Castle Combe so less likely to join you at The Bolingbroke for brekkie. But no definite plans as yet!

Audi UK will be out in force again at Audi Driver International at Castle Combe Circuit on 15th October 2016.

All confirmed yesterday at the latest Audi UK PR / AutoMetrix planning meeting, Audi will have another big presence with their exhibition unit and will be promoting the theme of 20 years since the BTCC domination with the A4 quattro in 1996. The Audi display will include the BTCC A4 quattro, a replica of the Stirling Moss Akai Series 2 80, an original 80 GT and a DTM Edition A4 from the Audi UK historic collection.

They will also be offering "hot lap" passenger rides in a R8 V10 Plus (driver to be announced) and bookable on the day.

A visit to Swindon Audi after the day out at Castle Combe has been confirmed and tickets are available for the Gala Dinner and Audi Driver Annual Awards presentation at the Hilton Swindon in the evening.

I could really do with knowing if any of the maybes are coming now as we are starting to get low on club stand passes, 15 allocated and 11 taken with 5 maybes. If I know there are definites coming I can at least phone up and try to get more stand passes +++

I'm afraid due to last minute affairs myself and Conquistador regretfully are not able to attend. I hope the day will be as good as it has always been for the last few years. Hope to see some great photos of the day too.

Saying that I'm gutted is a very polite form and a huge understatement and with the regret I'd like to pull out my car from the stand, but keep the other car please.
Doors and roof has been deep scratched and car needs to go to body shop.
Reason why is scratched: I don't want to talk about it so please dont ask, I'm too ''gutted''.

That's really terrible Marcin, hopefully an isolated incident, but still a pain in the butt, and indefensible in any situation.

Aspect Valeting from Swindon will be there in the show ground this year again (as last year and at AITP) with their vans and equipment and they will do a basic wash snow foam and dry etc externally from £20 upwards but very much NOT local hand car wash style!

£20 for External Valet or £40 for External Valet and Spray Wax application giving 3 months protection.

If anyone wants to book their car in at a specific time then let me know and I'll sort it, otherwise you will be queuing up if any others are there first.
