SQ5 fake exhaust tips
1 Attachment(s)
Whilst most brands are now opting for the fake exhaust tip look, this surely takes the biscuit, especially on such a tuned and competent car.
The fake look is certainly helping lower spec models look like more 'able' cars, such is the point I suppose, sells units. |
That is shockingly cynical, even by auto manufacturing standards. Never mind that they stuck an 'S' on a soot chucker.

In my opinion, this is just one example of how far - in the wrong direction - Audi have moved from the "Vorsprung Durch Technik"-driven philosophy that made them different - and better - than other companies in the past. That's why I've lost interest in them as a company over the last few years, and decided to focus on one that's pushing the boundaries in a way that they seem to have forgotten.

The new SQ5 is petrol engined +++
Just saying... |
Yep, the FY platform SQ5 is petrol.
Still no excuse for fake tips, unless it's a 2.0tfsi dressed up for press photos. |

(here - https://youtu.be/0gxH6BMWN9M) It's essentially an Audi Head Office marketing "suit" spinning the "Vorsprung" philosophy by suggesting that a combined "Gas and Gasoline" car is helping them achieve carbon neutrality. And the name of this - G-tron. E-tron is dead, long live G-tron?. |
 seeing this more and more now on most new cars!
