i was im Marks & Spencers Meadowhall (meadowhell) when my CAT got knicked |
Jeez guys. Having parts cut off the car sounds unbelievable
Especially under the car! |
My sister had hers taken from her diesel Galaxy, in London, parked outside her house a few years back. Who knew that was a thing?!
|
I understand that dealers will often remove the cats from vehicles on their forecourts or in their compounds as the risk of cat theft has become so high. And they will put signs up saying so!!
|
this has been happening around oldham, ashton, huddersfield area since cats have been fitted ( the 90s) usually on sprinters, crafters and the like , no need to even jack them up!!! DPF are expensive. its actually worse now they will break-in to a car just to steal the battery.

This is bad! This was a issue when I was into BMW e30's, where the BBS wheel caps use to go missing. Remember a guy put glue and glass dust on his caps+++

Just look at the clean cut WTF ?

Modern 18v tools - $100 buys you a Chinese (Ozito etc) battery angle grinder or reciprocating saw.
I've got Hitachi 18v gear and it's brilliant. The Angle Grinder is as good as my 240V one. How do you protect yourself against powerful tools like these? Even padlocks and gate latches aren't secure - their noise is the only deterrent... |
