Details:

I have applied for a club stand for 25 cars and recieved the following e-mail:-

Audis in the Park 2010 updates and Information.
8 months and counting.
Yes, I know, you’ll all say “that’s ages away”......but believe me, the time is flying by!
I really can’t believe the amount of following and interest AITP has created.
2009 was good but it really is looking like 2010 will smash all expectations!
I would like to take this time to thank each and every one of you for supporting and promoting AITP on various forums and social network sites (facebook, twitter, myspace etc etc etc)
Please feel free to continue to post wherever you may think it will generate even more interest and let’s get AITP firmly stamped on the “must attend” calendar.
This year I will be selling advance wristbands for £5 each. This entitles the driver and occupants of his/her car into the park AND the main event AITP!!!!!
These can be purchased through the website and paid for via paypal. Simply click on the link in the "Advanced Tickets" tab of www.audisinthepark.co.uk

I’m urging clubs/forums to pre-book "X" amount of wristbands and paying in advance. (Individuals can also buy tickets directly through the website or get a trusting member of the forum to book a quantity)

This will be a benefit in many ways.

1) Will speed up entry into the park (Gate staff will wave wristband wearers through)

2) Will allow me to allocate designated club space and avoid overcrowding as I will have a rough idea of what clubs and attendance figures to expect based on ticket sales.

3) Paying in advance will obviously save you money (all be it only £1, but like Tesco say, "Every little helps"

4) Running an event like AITP obviously comes with costs, so paying in advance will help me in paying for hiring the event field itself, trophies, flyers and website etc etc etc etc!Last year ALL ticket money went directly to the park!

5) You get a lovely fetching AITP wristband to wear with pride, telling the whole community "YOU WERE THERE"

All that’s left for me to say at this stage is KEEP POSTING, KEEP PROMOTING AND KEEP LOOKING FORWARD TO AITP 2010!

Regards

Calvin

Reckon I'll be there.

Do we pay through the club or on the website ourselves?

Conan_the_Librarian 17th January 2010 08:51 AM

Just list your names for now and I will do a club buy and collect off you there.

PsYcHe 17th January 2010 09:48 AM

I suppose we should do a list then.

Ahemmm, see bottom of first post!

Not trying to be piccy or anything but its Conan_the_Librarian.:p

PsYcHe 17th January 2010 01:41 PM

You... Picky???

Thought we'd do the list that we normally do with the chaos of everyone adding themselves to the list in a new post as it's more fun that way :)

But if it keeps you happy, then we can go with the 'just reply and Conan_the_Librarian will add you to HIS list' method.

More the merrier buddy, Maybe you should get the AITP thread stickied and get some names on a list.

Advanced Tickets on sale now too! People who buy in advanced are definates rather than maybes!

Architex_mA8tey 6th June 2010 08:27 PM

A message from our sponsor.............

LESS THAN 3 WEEKS TO GO!!!
Yes thats right, less than 3 weeks to go before the BIGGEST Audi ONLY event on the calendar!
I'm sure some of you are busy rushing around to get your cars all sorted for the big day!
Just thought I would take this time to keep you all updated and to remind you of things you may have forgotten.
FIRST THINGS FIRST!!
CLOSING DATE FOR ADVANCED TICKETS IS SATURDAY 31ST JULY!!!!!...if you haven't ordered your tickets by then, you will have to purchase them on the day for £6.00.
SECONDLY!!
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE stop sending me your camping enquiries! I am STILL being inundated with camp site booking enquiries.
Just so everyone is aware...again....PLEASE BOOK YOUR CAMP SITE PITCH DIRECTLY WITH WICKSTEED PARK.......for more information on camping, please follow this link: http://www.wicksteedpark.co.uk/camping.aspx
SHOW AND SHINE
This year the Show & Shine Competition wil be a "TURN UP ON THE DAY" entry system.
Simply mention to the gate staff that you wish to enter the S & S competition and they will give you a entry form to complete. Fill in the form and hand it to me (Calvin).... (Don't worry if you don't know who Calvin is, Someone will!!)....short bloke that'll probably be collapsed in the field through exhaustion...lol
SATURDAY CAMPING/BBQ
This year, I hope to try and get a real community spirit going & hope to get everyone camped together as best as possible. Lets break down the "this club, that club" barriers and remember we are all there for the same reason...AUDIS!!
I plan to bring a Gas BBQ and Mrs AITP has kindly volunteered to cook, so feel free to bring along some BBQ food and get it cooked for you!
All that is really left for me to say is this!....We are now in the final few weeks before the show, lets all have a real push and smash the numbers we had at AITP 2009.
Please feel free to copy and past this on any Forum or Website you can think of!
Lets make sure that EVERY Audi owner knows about AITP and lets get them there!
See you all soon

May try a bit of camping.....................
