Mine has just been a declared a total loss by the insurers :(

It was hit by a van whilst parked up.

I’m battling with them at the moment to get a reasonable payout :mad:

Battle hard with those insurers not many about like yours send them my advert if they want examples with price guide there was a silver one that sold for 7K guy bought it posted up on A8/S8 facebook page

The silver one was bought near me in Guildford.

I am very tempted. I fell in love with the colour as soon as a saw it. It’s stunning :love:

I’m still undecided at the moment. I know I’m 100% not going to repair/keep mine and I’m at the stage of thinking about other cars I want to try so another S8 is unlikely....but never say never.

After having an S8 nothing else quite compares. If it is still available once I know what I’m doing I might hit James up and relieve him of his stunner :)

Thanks for the heads up Adrian - I was a bit slow out of the blocks! Seeing this tempted me to change from my current B6 S4.

I also believe it is you who knows Dave at DS Autowerks / Camspec. I was talking to him not so long ago about D2 S8s and he mentioned he used to have one and the forum as have been taking the S4 to Campsec / DS for years now and know Dave (since he took over Camspec at least).

This did look a good one, will keep my eyes peeled a bit more often now!!

Both Barzya8 and I use David :D I think it's been about 4 years that he's been looking after my cars.

Good S8s are rarely around for long these days, as the pool of decent cars continues to dwindle and/or find their way into hands of owners who will never part with them through choice.
