Nice collection there, looks like you got ample parking also?
they all yours or family members? |
Owned over the last 3 years. I get this itch :-(
The TR6 went a few months back, so now it's just the S8. |
Nice Cerbera - which engine did it have??
|
4.5
|
Good taste, looks like you've had some fun over the last 3 years +++
|
That Fiat looks nice, looks like some kind of special edition? Always had a soft spot for Fiats, a standard Coupe was my (early) mid life crisis car some years back, lovely car in metallic BRG, ahh well the memories..............

The one above is an LE - not to everyone's taste with the red Recaro interior. Hated the rear spoiler that was on it, but 1st owner did that from new :( Some more pics of it... http://i119.photobucket.com/albums/o...6/DSC00091.jpg http://i119.photobucket.com/albums/o...6/DSC00096.jpg http://i119.photobucket.com/albums/o...6/DSC00121.jpg http://i119.photobucket.com/albums/o...6/DSC00122.jpg http://i119.photobucket.com/albums/o...6/DSC00125.jpg http://i119.photobucket.com/albums/o...6/DSC00113.jpg And my Sprint blue 300BHP version... http://i119.photobucket.com/albums/o...intblue013.jpg |
Very nice, only the Italians could colour code bits of the engine. The Sprint Blue was always one of my favourite colours, must have been a bit of a handfull pushing 300bhp through the front wheels+++
|
So true Brian; only an Italian could do it +++
304 BHP wasn't too bad, thanks to the viscous drive. One chap had 650BHP from one of these -all through the front wheels! On the subject of Fiat - check this out http://www.fiatforum.com/lets-talk-f...ml#post2148915 One of the weirdest, most amazing things :eek2: How on earth could everything be just as it was left 30 or so years ago without anyone noticing? Beggars belief! :eek3: |
God yes thats weird, mind you my experience of Fiat Dealers (mostly Arnie up here) is that they still have the same customer ethos as back then I think?
how many tyres did you get through? my standard 147 bhp used to only do about 9k on a front set, that may be more to do with my lead right foot though!! |
10-12k I recall. 15k on some Bridgestones once
|
One I almost bought a couple of years back - this very car.
http://www.torquestats.com/modified/index.php?car_id=70 Timing was wrong as I had to get rid of the Cerbera first  Over 600 BHP on 102 (now defunct) octane :p Vid of it's brother doing the 1/4 mile with 500 BHP http://www.torquestats.com/modified/...lery&car_id=53 |
I'm lucky enough to still have both my '97 (Scots Green) 20v Turbo, as well as my Black 03 FE D2 S8 - totally different drives, but both make me grin..:D

Yeah, I'm lucky, and have a very understanding missus.
Tho' she's getting increasingly p**sed off at driving round a bashed up Fiat Panda...:( |
Lucky man Tintin, both very nice cars, with hindsight I wish I had gone for the Turbo on my Coupe but at that time I was Mr Sensible with a 3 year old and a huge mortgage so had to compromise, did the same when I bought a Rover SD1 years ago, went for the 2.6 and always wished I had gone for the V8, however now older and dafter didnt compromise on the Audi, just had to have the S8. +++
