Audis in the Park - Attendance & Meet Report
Hi all
Ok next event up is Sun 7th August - Audis In The Park at Wicksteed Park, Nr Kettering Tickets can be bought cheaper in advance at the website HERE ONLY £5 PER VEHICLE!!! Can all who are coming please add their name to the thread so we know numbers. I have contacted Calvin and ordered our usual passes / club stand. I'll be there, it's only a 15 min drive from my mates house, plus it will be good to meet with the guys coming to Edersee/Nurburgring and talk tactics.

I guess I should be there as it is only 15 min drive but I feel that none of our Audi's S8 or A6 is good enough condition to be displayed for public admiration

Audis in the park was brilliant last year, I may come in the '8. Will let you know a couple of days before. I don't plan far ahead.

hi just like to say if i get my car back in time i will be there as i will have to have a drive but there will be tax and mot issues which make cause a problem , but going anywhere in the vw polo loaner is not an enjoyable prospe:Confused:ct. chalky

I'll be there in the A8 as buying Neil's H&R spacers but why oh why can't this start in the PM. Ruins my Sunday morning lie in. :(

First picture from the meet. Batteries have died in the camera even so I put a new ones in yesterday, I think it is shorting out- time for new camera. So I only took one picture on phone and bad boy BAJIT(it does sound like bad boy does it not?) have left already. I am sure there will be many to follow.

HERE is a link to my pics from the day! Thanks to those that made it, probably our lowest attendance at a meet but still a good day was had by all +++
Interestingly the four cars we had there were a pre facelift A8, a pre facelift S8, a facelift A8 and a facelift S8! Other cars seen were a silver V10 S8 on an 08 plate with low mileage at the show and shine, a silver late FL 2.8 with Final Edition wheels, Xenon pluses and blinds etc so a nice high spec for a 2.8 (spoke to the guy and told him to get on here!) and a couple of other D3's and a silver D2 with D3 "dustbin lid" wheels |
Mine's got to be best looking of the bunch in pictures or is it just me??:)

Definitely our lowest attendance.. Disappointed I couldn't make it this year.
