AUDI DRIVER INTERNATIONAL 2011 - Details & Attendance Thread
 
Ok all the next date for your diaries is ADI

Its held at Castle Combe Race Circuit Nr Chippenham, Wilts on Saturday October 8th and I propose that as with last year any that want to meet up just down the road for the Big Boy Breakfast before we all cruise to the circuit together to go in.
I will post further details in the next week or two but lets try and get as many 8's to this show as we can and there's track time available as well as a club stand for the cars to park up together. It will cost you £10 per adult to go in at Castle Combe (kids free) but the club stand passes are free, just let me know if you need one sending or want to collect it at The Crown when we meet up

You're on the list Chalky, we are now about a month away and I will need to book the big boy breakfasts at the crown soon - can everyone who intends to come therefore let me know if you need a club stand pass and also if you will be meeting the majority of us at the Crown just down the road for breakfast before we cruise in to the event together. I have booked 15 club stand passes and it will be first come first served. I need to know accurate numbers for the breakfast so state how many of you are coming. Thanks +++

My room booked for friday and saturday night at the crown. They said more rooms are available if anybody else wants one. Breakfast is also available for those who want one but it must be booked in advance +++

Nice one Darren. Well I have been trying to get a list together of who wants breakfast so I could book en-mass but after not many responses I'm just going to book mine and join you for breakfast. If anyone else wants to do so then I suggest they also call THE CROWN INN also.

In respect of times on the day - the gates are open from 7 am for traders, 7.30 for track entrants, concours entrants and club members, with members of the public admitted from 9 am onwards. On that basis we should be at the gates for 8.30am to go in so breakfast should be perhaps from 7.45 to 8.15am +++

seems like a good opportunity to say to anyone on the attendance list plus anyone else that wants to come -

can you PLEASE confirm the following back to me on here or on PM as soon as you can -

1. That you are coming and want a space on the club stand (you will need to pay £10 per person to get in but I have the club stand passes per car and they are free, they get you into the main arena and enable us to park up as a group.

2. If you are coming whether you intend to meet up with us at THE CROWN INN for breakfast and then I can hand you your pass there and we can all cruise in to the arena area together to park up. If you are not meeting at the crown then PM me asap with your contact details for me to post the pass off to you.

3. If you are meeting at the Crown Inn, how many people in your car are wanting to order the cooked breakfast or continental breakfasts, as I need to let the pub know numbers by this weekend.

If you are on the list at the start of the thread then you have reserved a pass but I need to know for sure that you are coming as we dont have spare passes to waste

Sub-Zero all I need to know is the above 3 things if you can confirm that would be great! I am meeting with the A7 owners at the weekend but we should have 4 or 5 joining us and possibly Amar with his RS6 too :D

Anyone else coming to ADI on Saturday this week - the first page on this thread is the list I have of confirmed attendees and I need to phone the Crown to book the breakfasts in the next 2 days so they have the correct numbers. Please make sure you turn up and pay for your breakfast etc at the Crown if you have said you are coming!! +++

I will give out club stand passes at the crown and those who I have been asked to send to them I will post off tomorrow

Due to unforseen circumstances i will not be staying at the crown on friday and saturday night. I will have to drive the 226 mile journey down on saturday morning and then return back saturday night. See you all there +++

Might be joining a convoy from the SE at Reading J13 if I make it for when they're meeting up +++

On an unrelated subject, does anyone have the right keys, and most importantly the know how, to remove an RNS-E and get it back in again?! I would like to disconnect the stupid box that serves no purpose in the glovebox and give me a CD changer back until such time as I cough up for an ipod dock.....

My CD changer still has power so I'm hoping it's a simple plug and play task to reconnect....

Have you got a lat/long or road junction location for the Crown Inn? Knowing how variable sat navs and postcodes can be in the sticks I'm not that confident in finding it based on Google maps evidence!

If I can find it on Google Streetview I should be OK, in which case I'll post what I find!

edit - scratch that - found it quite easily on Streetview :)
