Some say. . . . its the best tv show. . . . . in the worldddd!

some say. . . . . the Stig lives on a diet of leather and engine oil. . .
some say . . . . that Jeremy Clarkson is the most annoying man . . . in the world.
some say. . . . . if you wait 28 million years for top gear tickets . . . . then you may be lucky and get them. . . .
some say. . . . Mike was so desperate to go that he offered to dress up as one of the women you need in your group to attend a recording. . .
some say. . . . that thought just made me throw up
I will try my hardest to get an 8 onto the right end of the cool wall. . . promise :D
keep your eyes peeled for me in the crowd on Sunday 11th March!! :D+++

any way have fun its really cool you can go outside and watch the practice laps as well, james may is a nice bloke and he will talk to you if you get a chance chat to him rather than the others as they tend to just blank you, but may will not, sound chap with a love of cars not as pictured on screen +++

daviesbike 3rd March 2012 04:10 PM

i now think that video is so funny because i know there is no chance of that happening again with a 6.0L W12 under the bonnet +++

Architex_mA8tey 3rd March 2012 04:42 PM

There's gotta be a race between Darren and Guy now lol . . . +++

daviesbike 3rd March 2012 05:48 PM

would it not be a matter of driver v driver rather than car, as they are both W12's ?

Driver weight maybe, otherwise you just put your foot planted and keep it in straight line, it's not like it is stick shift

daviesbike 3rd March 2012 06:15 PM

exactly, to be honest i think it would be more down to who's misses eats more salad , lol im just over 16 stone and im a simmilar build to darren so it would be a close call i think +++

darrenjoe90 3rd March 2012 07:07 PM

In theory, Guys should be a touch quicker as Darrens is weighed down by nearly every factory option in the book.... :p

come on .... serious ? there cant be that many more kilos in the two with options can there ?

i never did get to see his full spec and pictures of when he got it cant remember if the windows are tinted ect and if there is rear entertainment ect ....?

IT 3rd March 2012 10:54 PM

This was Darrens:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ws/eBayISA...vip=true&rt=nc

Yes to RSE, but on reflection maybe there isnt that much weight in the options - I'd mistakenly though it was the full monty with vent / massage seats etc as well. Grey matter is getting old... ;)

Lose the spare wheel & tool kit, skip breakfast and run with little fuel in the tank. You'll have him. :p

Architex_mA8tey 3rd March 2012 11:29 PM

Can I have my thread back please ? Lol
Did I mention I'm going to top gear? +++:D

But don't forget I use nitrogen in my tires :)

Ps. Did somebody mention Top Gear ??? Lol

daviesbike 4th March 2012 07:25 AM

Nitrogen ? dose it really work ? i had it once and cost me £1.50 per tyre but did not have the car after that it was sold.

oh yea did i mention that Neil is going to top gear ?

Conan_the_Librarian 4th March 2012 09:17 AM

Where's neil going? Dressed in what dort of gear?

The idea of nitrogen is:
1. Bigger molecules- escape slower and no need to check pressure and top up tyres so often
2. Nitrogen expands less with heat so smaller pressure changes when temperature changes.

On the strip it will not make any difference.

And don't forget air is about 70% nitrogen anyway

Did I mention I'm going to TOP GEAR tomorrow??

Neil found out there are 7 gears in A7, so far only been using first 5 or 6 so far. He's going to top(7th) gear tomorrow.:ROFL::ROFL::ROFL:

briang9 6th March 2012 09:58 PM

have a great time Neil, not at all jealous:p

Dezzy 7th March 2012 07:25 AM

Neil's going to Top Gear today. One of my favourite Clarkson quotes.

“The Suzuki Wagon R should be avoided like unprotected sex with an Ethiopian transvestite”

Architex_mA8tey 7th March 2012 12:40 PM

Did I mention . . . I'm AT Top Gear !!
Slash and Kimi Raikkennen are the guests - last show of the series!
