RNS-D Removal
 

I want to get to the back of the RNS-D unit. Are these the keys that are required?

Where are you? I have a set Of 4 genuine you could borrow.

Jim I have them but I think I may have lost one of them, will check and let you know, the ones in the link are the right ones but you need four of them

£4 for 4. How far can you drive in an A8 for that money. :ROFL:

Unless you're desperate I'd buy them off eBay and let the postman bring them to you. :D

Be careful which ones you buy. I bought a set from Halfrauds and they were useless. I ended up getting a proper set from the Snap On guy.

I've got Audi genuine set of 4 and it works tip top with RNS-D and RNS-E.

The part number is 8E0 051 530.

If you're careful, you should be able to manage with 2 keys, but it does involve a bit of shuffling.

Daft Q though... Are you using them the right way round?

Don't be silly Richard you can't get the big bulbous handles in there, they are ways too big! +++

That may have been my problem then Neil :) .. Though if you do put them in 'upside down' as it were, then they don't work.
