S8: Worth Buying?

Cheapest 2002 S8 with full Audi service history I've seen.
What do u think?
I wouldn't bid over £2k...

That does not look like a lot of paperwork for a car thats covered more than 150K miles. Mine has enough to fill a whole folder. I am sure it will go for a lot more than 2K, as the S8 is a very desirable car.

2k- I don't think so. I will be surprised if it goes for less then 2.5k, I would be expecting more about 3-3.5k

Worth more then £2k.

Looks like the twin of mine.

I know that feeling, Nollywood.

I couldnt work out the selling point behind saying it had only 1 key, then realised he'd (presumably) copied that part verbatim from this listing:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2002-AUDI-...item3f14969712

and edited slightly....

I figured there couldnt be two seperate people who actually thought steering wheel gear change was so cool they had to point it out... :p

Circa 3K i reckon - A lot of savvy folks will be put off by the mileage and apparent lack of gearbox work, but its still a late model 2002 car is good looking condition in a sensible colour.....

I'd say that's got to be worth a minumum of 3k.. 3.5+ realistically.

chan110 9th March 2012 07:34 PM

Thks guys.

Yes, I also noticed the 1 key statement.

Its already reached £2050....:(
Still I noticed the S8 seems to hold their value better than an A8.

So, might max my bid to £2.5k - its ebay - always a bargain somewhere when the right buyers have decided to go to the pub instead :D

chan110 11th March 2012 03:44 PM

Only £2150 - winning bid!

I didn't bid - too high mileage and someone had smoked in the car...
But, it could've been mine!:(

Architex_mA8tey 11th March 2012 04:35 PM

That was a bargain even at that mileage - not a bad car either
