Been out on the ring in the plus already and in Nigel's V10 R8, he can REALLY drive and the ceramic brakes shed off speed so fast. We've already lost an R8 and been reported for speeding in Belguim, but he couldn't book us all so just politely reminded us the speed limit was kph not mph.

Hey Amar - looks like you're having a good time :)

If you think Nige can drive, have a ride with Adam in his c6 RS6 or whatever else he's allowed to pedal and you should be properly impressed! Spec on Adam's rs6 is about the same as Nige's old one but with factory ceramics iirc

Hit some debris thrown up by the car in front and it took out the front grill (again in this case!) but also did the rads so no further progress until its fixed :( loudest car on the tour I suspect too.....

The 8 had something go through his rad :(

Line up is V10,V8,V10,V8,V10,V8,V10 and circa 4300 BHP, there is also another B7 RS4 behind the red R8 which sticks with the V engined pattern we had going on, which was totally by chance.

Did you get a ride with Adam, or try following him at any point?! I think it was Nige that's previously said he finds it disconcerting following Adam as he's left foot braking everywhere lol

Awesome line up - think the only car I don't recognise is the red R8!

Wish I could make one of these but I'd need a much faster car, some brave pills and not to need to worry about the cost :ROFL:

Adrian, make sure you come on the next one. I had a sit in Adam's C6, but didn't go out in it. I did go out in Brett's C6 though which dyno'd at 740 BHP on 95 RON and is MRC Stage two, it was very quick.
Fuel costs - I did circa 1,800 miles in four days and my total for the trip including the ring and high speed autobahn runs was 20.2 MPG - I've not worked out my total yet, not bad MPG though, eh? I was paying 1.89 a litre for racing fuels in Europe. You live closer to the tunnel so your costs will be much lower, travel insurance was £3.88 and European breakdown cover £17 for three days, hotel £100 a night which included breakfast. Audi picked up our group's 700 Euro food/drinks tab, and 200 Euro tour costs. How bloody generous. +++

Good lad :), I bet it perked up your car a bit, it certainly did the S8.

I didn't really notice it, but it was mixed with other fuel too. If you thought the car was quick last time you drove it though, now it's unreal. The old car felt quick-ish by comparison, now it is properly insane.
