SOLD D3 '10-spoke' 18" alloy wheels ( four of )
7 Attachment(s)
I've just upgraded my 2008 to 20" 7-arm twin spokes so have my original wheels to sell.
The wheel are in excellent condition ( I'll post pictures as soon as I can ) and have dunlop tyres of which 2 or on the wear bars ( 3mm ?? ) and the other 2 or shot. I'm after £500ono and happy for collection for the buyer to arrange a courier. I'm in Milton Keynes The attached picture isn't my car but the same wheels. Thanks Si |
wear bars are generally at 2mm tread depth, just for info

Thanks Adrian,
I'll get pictures up tonight hopefully, I'm pretty sure the tyres for the two that aren't shot are just above the wear bares but I guess if we said 2mm you won't be disappointed. Si |
You guys think I should remove the tyres and sell just the wheels ? I don't if anyone would make use of 2 tyres so low
Si |
No harm leaving them on there - it gets someone mobile potentially but also means they'll appeal to someone who might want to fit different size tyres anyway
|
Hi Si,
It wouldn't put me off personally mate but maybe worth splitting them, scrapping the 2 bald ones and maybe offering the 2 okish ones to purchaser, you might find more buyers if they don’t have tyres as they can be fitted with 225,40,18’s and go on golfs, V dub vans, blab, bla, bla. Top Tip The 2 bald ones stacked and filled with soil make excellent containers for growing strawberry’s in as they get warm in the sun and keep the soil warm ;) |
You fancy them Dezzy then ? +++
Si |
I do like them mate but i already have 2 set of rims and i don't need another set.
|
Pictures added.
I guess you could combine these with the winter tyres being sold below to give you a winter set. I think the pictures show the wheels are in excellent condition, I guess having 18" wheels means you have plenty of tyre to impact the kerb and avoid damage If I get no interest in a few days I'll move them to ebay Si |
Now moved to ebay
Si |
Can anyone tell me what the offset of these wheels is ?
Thanks Si |
Should be marked on the wheel, either around the wheel bolt centre cap area, or the inside of the wheel spokes. Will begin with ET
If you can't find it, quote the part number and I'll look it up in Etka +++ |
Thanks Adrian.
All sold now :-) Si |
BUGGER-Just noticed they're sold, would have collected tonight... bollocks! :'(
