Just a little social experiment:) I was thinking more along the lines of what category you could apply to users, how many of each, and if we could identify when we maybe got our first in each category, some examples I have come up with as a starter for 10 as old Bamber used to say are :-

Keen
Casual
Rude
Technical
Nutter:(
Humorous
Expert
Stroppy
Nasty
Knowledgeable
Helpful
Arrogant
Generous

Suppose CtL might know;)

cheers

I resemble all of the above then

briang9 10th October 2012 08:14 PM

probably me too John:(

any thoughts on how recently any of these categories may have been augmented;)

I suppose that would come down to who's categorising it Brian and their opinion. If we were all the same how boring would that be?
That's why i personally like the meets as it gives a chance to meet the people that have helped, made you laugh when maybe things aren't going your way and needed the smile or just to catch up.
I think there is a good community of regular poster on this forum that wouldn't post anything just to wind anybody up or any bitchyness, unlike others out there.

HPsauce 10th October 2012 09:56 PM

All of the above?

briang9 10th October 2012 10:09 PM

suspect my weird way of thinking and this obscure thread maybe not be conveying my thoughts properly, I was thinking we seem to have done well to get to Oct 2012 until someone in one of my categories signs up;)

sorry just my strange and obscure brain:o

And I'm thinking you're not very observant.

And that's ignoring our latest "fetish" troll posting (I very much hope) fictional personal details for all to see. :snigger:

briang9 10th October 2012 10:18 PM

ahh I see, thats the problem, I havnt been ignoring the appropriate posts:ROFL:

shame really I was looking forward to an abundance of pies, and pastries at the next meet:-(

PsYcHe 10th October 2012 11:00 PM

Ahh, and to the point of this otherwise pointless thread, guess in the land of Internet forums (or is that Fori) we have been lucky to get from Jan 2009 to Oct 2012 before getting our first one:ROFL:

sarg 11th October 2012 12:17 PM

Are you forgetting Nutter #1 Ben?

It's fora, actually (In Latin, forum is a neuter noun; in its plural form, it is correct to say fora. The same reasoning applies to the word "memorandum"; in Latin, the plural is memoranda...)

...and now you'll need to add "pedant" to your list of categories :D: - or is that a subset of technical, or am I just being pedantic again?

or we could add a category for those with "unconventional" interior colours, cant think of a title for them though;)
