Wanted S8 / S6 40V Pistons

After having collected the rather poorly engine from Ranj, I'm looking for 1, possible 2 pistons from a 40V S6 or S8 engine (they're the same).

If anyone has one in pieces which isn't going back together... please let me know.

I'd consider a full block also.

Thanks

We have an 2001 S6 40V bottom end for sale.

Please call me or one of the team on 01642 783537 if you wish to discuss.

Kind regards

Sadly I can't help with the pistons but I don't suppost Ranj left the crank locking pin I lent him in the engine?

I haven't seen it but I'll check it the block later on today for you.

Thanks for that.

Also, there's 2 different pistons in the 40v as they're specific to each bank. From memory, I think you need bank 2 pistons (cylinders 5 to 8)?

No problem :)

Yes I'd figured out due to the offset design but thanks for confirming it for me.

Just checked in the block.. a threaded hole with no plug and no pin. Sorry.

I now have to find a blanking plug too!

Ah, I bought one recently as I bought a cam locking tool from Germany.

They're cheap enough...
