Very impressive +++

How is the car running after so many miles??
Have you had gearbox refurb done by now or still going without any major repairs??

thebluewhale 13th February 2014 05:29 PM

Dezzy has the bomb proof 4 speed box IIRC. It'll run forever that car.+++

ainarssems 13th February 2014 05:59 PM

And he is 90k miles overdue for cambelt change

mannyo 13th February 2014 06:22 PM

Only 31K miles more than the D2 which I have for sale which is on 191K miles with the original (as far as I know) gearbox that has never seen any maintenance. All the 2's is impressive, shame the trip computer was not on 222.2

Yes must try harder Dezzy! :D
It's only done that many miles because he bought it with every intention of driving it into the ground. . . And it won't let him lol +++

PsYcHe 13th February 2014 09:00 PM

It's running very well, get the odd lumpiness now and again like a slight miss and uses a bit of oil. Box had a fluid and filter change a couple of years ago and the rest has just been basic spannering.
